To celebrate the sun’s return, Lane Blood Center is holding weekly BBQ in the Park Blood Drives throughout the month of July. Give blood, chow down and get a free pass to the Lane County Fair — who could ask for more?
Do a good deed and have a good meal at these locations:
- Monday, July 7: Pavilion Park in Coburg, noon to 4 p.m.
- Monday, July 14: River Road Park in Eugene, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. So Delicious will join us and have their amazing dairy free goodies on hand!
- Monday, July 21: Bethel Community Park in West Eugene, 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. KDUK 104.7 FM will broadcast live from the park!
- Monday, July 28: Coiner Park in Cottage Grove, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (after the fair, so no free passes)
If these times don’t work for you, you can still donate at any of our other blood drives or at Lane Blood Center, 2211 Willamette St., in Eugene. Call 541-484-9111 to make an appointment, or visit our webpage at www.laneblood.org.
Lane Blood Center is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday-Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
To be eligible to donate blood, you must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health and have eaten a meal with protein within four hours of your donation.
